Corrosion Of Conformity have unveiled a video for “You Or Me”, the second single from their upcoming double album Good God / Baad Man. The visuals were crafted in collaboration with renowned artist and director Costin Chioreanu and filmmaker Mike Holderbeast.
The band’s press release even included a quote from Lucifer: “With ‘You Or Me,’ Corrosion Of Conformity are back at the top of their game. This blistering, Sabbed out track is an angry acid trip into the origins of the human condition since the dawn of man. In these primitive times, it’s clear to say they haven’t learned much. So Black it’s Blue.”
Known for blending Southern metal grit with sludgy riffs, the gold-certified band added commentary on the video’s creation: “Deep from within the forests of Romania and the twisted mind of our dear friend Costin Chioreanu comes his twisted visions put to Corrosion‘s music. It’s a match made in purgatory. There’s some special additions from [director] Mike Holderbeast‘s crew as well.”
Corrosion of Conformity are returning to stages across North America this spring with a headlining tour featuring support from Whores and Crobot. The run kicks off April 7 in Atlanta and April 8 in Greensboro with Whores opening, before the band joins Clutch and JD Pinkus from April 9 through May 3, culminating in Asheville.
Following the Clutch dates, Corrosion of Conformity reconvenes with Whores in Toronto and Montreal, with Crobot joining the lineup for all remaining shows through May 16 in New Orleans. Get your tickets here.
