Prosecutors released new video showing us the moments that led up to this attack on Saturday. Let’s walk you through this step by step. The alleged gunman walks across the hallway and off camera. Now *** security agent with *** dog follows him and pauses for *** moment before they continue down the hallway. Just then, the suspect sprints down the hall with *** long gun towards more than 6 dozen Secret Service and other security. You can see the Secret Service agent at the bottom of your screen and the suspect face off as the agent fires 5 times. Investigators say that’s the agent who was shot in his bulletproof vest and uninjured. They think it’s the gunman who shot him. Now the video ends with security swarming the area and arresting the suspect off screen. Prosecutors also released video from the day before the attack showing the alleged. Gunman walking up and down *** hall and through the hotel gym in an apparent attempt to get an idea of the layout. After initially arguing for his release, defense attorneys ultimately agreed that the suspect should stay in jail ahead of his trial.
