Champions League semifinal recap: Two penalties leaves Atleti-Arsenal tie all to play for

Date:

THE CHAMPIONS!

We have some UEFA Champions League this week to close out the month of April, and we are down to our final four teams.

After Paris Saint-Germain‘s clash against Bayern Munich in the first leg at the Parc des Princes in the French capital, we have another one Wednesday — this time in the Spanish capital — as Atlético Madrid hosted Arsenal in their first leg, with both teams looking to reach the final and aim for their first Champions League title.

Even if the match was not as entertaining as the nine goals in Paris yesterday, penalties dominated this match with both Viktor Gyökeres and Julián Álvarez scoring from the spot as the match ended 1-1 to make it open for both teams next week at the Emirates.

Enjoy all that happened from today’s match.
