Cleveland Cavaliers point guard James Harden was arrested Saturday morning in Houston, Texas, on a misdemeanor unlawful carrying of weapons charge, according to Harris County court records. At 3:41 a.m., the NBA player was taken into custody after an officer observed a handgun in plain view on the seat of Harden’s vehicle, according to ESPN. He was booked into the Harris County Jail in Houston at 4:57 a.m.Harden was released on bond and has a court date set for June 22.The 36-year-old guard recently assisted in the Cavaliers’ playoff run to the Eastern Conference finals, where the team was defeated by the New York Knicks 4-0.Harden has had previous stints with the LA Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.
