Tucker Wetmore, Dasha, and more are also on the lineup of what’s being billed as the first multi-day country fest held on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Country music festivals in Mexico aren’t anything new: Luke Bryan has been throwing his all-star Crash My Playa Festival in Riviera Maya since 2015. But this coming September, country fans and artists will gather on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas for the very first multi-day country concert in the oceanside town on the Baja California peninsula.
On Wednesday, the Country Splash festival announced its inaugural lineup. Riley Green, Jon Pardi, and Tucker Wetmore will all headline, with Diplo also on the top line.
The rest of the lineup features a mix of up-and-coming country artists, including Dasha, Cameron Whitcomb, Zach John King, and Blake Whiten. Locash, Lauren Watkins, and Jacob Hackworth round out the bill. There are also DJ sets from Vavo and Dee Jay Silver. A release teases that additional artists will be announced.
Set for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4 through 6, Country Splash aims to pair country music with “curated luxury travel” — the fest is held on the grounds of the Paradisus Los Cabos resort. A pre-sale for hotel and villa packages is set for April 14 at 10 a.m. PT. General ticket on-sale stars April 15.
The fest’s co-founder, Robert Fried, says Country Splash emphasizes the boutique experience. “The guest experience will be at the core of everything, where fans can see their favorite artists up close, just steps from the ocean,” he said in a statement, “while enjoying the amenities of luxury travel from the best of Cabo’s resorts, dining and outdoor adventures.”
Riley Green released his most recent album, Don’t Mind If I Do, in 2024. A deluxe edition followed last year. Earlier this year he guested on Carly Pearce’s “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,” a sultry love song.
