A brush fire in San Juan County is forcing evacuations in the area. Crews are battling the fire on NM-170 north of Road 1424. Officials say the highway is closed between Road 1401 and 1424.Crews telling us power lines are down and expect the highway to be closed for an extended amount of time. They also said lots of water is being used and have the fire contained about two acres.
