BORRACHO Announce Eternos, A Tribute EP Honoring Fallen Brothers Of The Underground

Date:

Washington, DC heavy rock trio Borracho have announced Eternos, a new tribute EP arriving February 19, 2026, dedicated to close friends, collaborators and underground legends. Framed as an act of remembrance rather than nostalgia, the release finds Borracho channeling loss, love and legacy through towering riffs and reverent reinterpretations.

“This record is love, memory, celebration, and heavy riffs all rolled together,” the band shared. “A deeply personal EP of covers done in tribute to friends, brothers, and musical giants we’ve lost.”

Each track on Eternos is tied to a specific musician whose impact extended far beyond their own bands, serving as cornerstones of the heavy underground:

  1. “Fang” — in memory of Dave Sherman (Spirit Caravan)
  2. “Keep On Shoveling” — in memory of Rev. Jim Forrester (Foghound)
  3. “Twenty-nine” — in memory of Will Mecum (Karma to Burn)
  4. “Damyata” — in memory of Bruce Falkinburg (The Hidden Hand)
  5. “A Heart Without a Home” — in memory of Robert “Strings” Dahlqvist (The Hellacopters)

Rather than treating the songs as museum pieces, Borracho approach the material as living, breathing works. So don’t expect the originals as they were. Check out “A Heart Without a Home” below and pre-order Eternos here.
