Bodycam video shows dog lead police to owner who needed help

LEAWOOD, Kan. —

A dog wandering a neighborhood in Kansas ended up leading police to someone who needed help.

An officer with the Leawood Police Department spotted the pup standing in the street with a leash still attached — but the dog was alone with no owner nearby.

The officer followed the dog about half a block to a home with an open garage, where he found the homeowner on the floor, unable to get up.

Police said the man had been there for more than three hours. He is now recovering at home.
