Big rig dangles off bridge after crash near the California-Nevada line
FLORISTON, Calif. —
A solo big rig crash led to the closure of eastbound Interstate 80 on Friday for several hours, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said the big rig lost control on a bridge near Floriston in Nevada County, around 10:45 a.m., and the cab went over the bridge.
The driver was ejected and hit the embankment below, leading to major injuries, CHP said.
