Bicyclist hospitalized after getting hit by car



The crash happened near the intersection of 99th and Glendale avenues in Glendale on Saturday afternoon. Here are the latest details.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A bicyclist is in a Valley hospital with life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a car, according to the Glendale Police Department

Police said a car and bike collided near the intersection of Glendale and 99th avenues just after noon on Saturday. 

The bicyclist was crossing Glendale Avenue and heading north when the collision happened. 

The bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash and police say impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash. 

No one involved in the crash has been identified.
