Bernalillo County Fire & Rescue hosts career information session

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — Bernalillo County Fire & Rescue is holding an information for anyone interested in a fire service career on Tuesday, Oct. 21 starting at 1 p.m. The session will be held at the Bernalillo County Public Safety Training Academy on 3801 Broadway Blvd. SE.

Prospective recruits will more more about the department, including compensation, benefits, and the hiring process. Attendees can also meet BCFR team members. “For those who missed our first session, this is another opportunity to gain valuable insight into a career with BCFR and connect directly with our training staff and firefighters,” says Division Chief of Training Eric Wasson. “It’s an excellent chance to ask questions, learn about the process, and prepare for the next step in joining BCFR.”

Participants are asked to bring athletic shoes, long pants, leather glovers, and a water bottle. More information is available at the BCFR website.
