1052 GMT – U.K. budget airline easyJet’s foray into the packaged-vacation business looks increasingly smart, given the diversification benefits this provides, AJ Bell’s Dan Coatsworth says. “These operations are typically less volatile and higher margin than flights and therefore provide some useful ballast and diversification for easyJet, the analysts says. The group’s easyJet vacation business exceeded a profit target early and a new goal of 450 million pounds by 2030 seems credible in light of the unit’s recent performance, Coatsworth says.
