Date:

GRANT COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A deputy seen pointing his taser at another deputy before throwing a bunny into the side of a service vehicle has had multiple charges against him dismissed. In the video, Deputy Alejandro Gomez with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office can be seen threatening another deputy with a taser and smiling at the camera before violently throwing the bunny into the side of the vehicle.

Gomez was facing four charges for assault, but those charges were dismissed earlier this month. Gomez is now only facing a single charge of animal cruelty.
