APS rolling out new electric school buses

APS is rolling out 23 electric school buses this year.
The district will have an app allowing parents to track the buses.
The rollout is all part of their effort to improve safety and communication with families. The electric buses are also part of a health and environment initiative and to improve health risks for students.
The district says more information about the rollout, including details on routes and availability, will be released as the buses are put into service.
