Alleged drug trafficker busted in Santa Fe
Hugo Ronaldo Hernandez-Estrada faces two counts of trafficking a controlled substance. Santa Fe Police seized cocaine with an approximate value of over $200 thousand during their investigation.
SANTA FE, N.M. —
A man faces drug trafficking charges after Santa Fe Police seized over $220 thousand in cocaine and cash at a Santa Fe home on Friday.
A spokesperson for SFPD says Hugo Ronaldo Hernandez-Estrada was arrested during a traffic stop on Friday.
According to police, search warrants were executed at a residence in the 2700 block of Aspen Loop, as well as on multiple vehicles connected to Hernandez-Estrada. Police seized cocaine with an approximate street value of more than $200 thousand, along with two guns, jewelry, precious metals and over $22 thousand in cash.
Hernandez-Estrada has been charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance. He is being held at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
