ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With just 61 days away from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, officials have announced new pilots and some new balloons. While there’s no shortage of international additions, a local New Mexico balloon was announced as well.
Hug A Bear is flown by Filip Audenaert from Belgium. Koshare Gallup is flown by Peter Pro-Copio from Gallup, NM. Oklahoma’s Bill Kinser will be flying Milky Way, and Lee Hooper from the United Kingdom will be flying a brand new balloon called Universal Supreme Leader.
