
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — ABQ BioPark is contributing to the state’s art scene with a 21+ event featuring original artwork by the zoo’s animals. Live music and tropical drinks will be available to set the scene at the aquarium.

Paintings by penguins, elephants, orangutans, and more will be up for auction with proceeds going back to the animal artists. VIP guests will get early access, complimentary drinks, and behind-the-scenes tours of the shark tank. The aquarium event is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. Tropical attire is encouraged.
