Another gorgeous day of weather during Balloon Fiesta.

Date:

A chance for rain Wednesday but mainly quiet until next week.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The quiet and warmer weather will stick around today as high pressure continues to be dominant. Balloon fiesta looks good for the rest of the week. The exception would be over the northern and western higher terrain where isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, this afternoon and Wednesday. Highs in the Albuquerque metro will climb into the upper 70s and it will be 74 degrees today in Santa Fe under a blue sky. Staying quiet this evening and chilly with temperatures dipping into the 40s and 50s. As the ridge pushes East later this weekend, a trough of low pressure will dig into the Pacific Northwest allowing moisture to filter into the state. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be on the increase later Sunday into Monday.
