The Pittsburgh Steelers are trading Porter to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round selection, sources confirmed to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe and ESPN’s Todd Archer.
The trade marks the end of a monthslong saga that stretched throughout the Steelers’ offseason as Porter, one of the team’s 2023 second-round picks, awaited an extension and was sidelined with a back injury.

Vikings get: 2027 fifth-round pick
The New York Giants are trading for Minnesota Vikings McCarthy, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
The Giants are sending a 2027 fifth-round pick to Minnesota, the sources said.
McCarthy, picked by the Vikings with the No. 10 selection in the 2024 draft, was the third-string quarterback in Minnesota behind starter Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz.
