One more day of clear skies until impact storms hit most of the state tomorrow.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Drier conditions will come to an end into the overnight hours as thunderstorms move through the northwestern parts of the state. The majority of New Mexico is under a flash flood watch until Wednesday morning; however, Wednesday remains an impact weather day for all six regional zones. Starting tomorrow, the risk of flash flooding will be elevated to a “moderate” level, the second-highest category of its kind. As always, steer clear of ditches, arroyos and burn scars, and never walk or drive through flood-covered roads.
Today’s high in Albuquerque is forecasted at 80 degrees, with Santa Fe at 71 degrees. Tonight’s low in Albuquerque is forecasted at 59 degrees, with Santa Fe at 55 degrees.
