NFL Week 2 action begins with the Buffalo Bills breaking in their brand-new home, Highmark Stadium, against the visiting Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
Both teams enter the contest following nail-biting victories. Buffalo pulled off a last-second win over the Houston Texans in Week 1, forcing a C.J. Stroud fumble on the Texans’ last drive of the game to secure a 36-31 win. Meanwhile, the Lions needed to go to overtime to get past the New Orleans Saints. After being held scoreless in the first half, the Saints stormed back to tie the game at 24-24 at the end of regulation before losing 31-30 on a failed 2-point conversion.
