Wild video shows car crash through backyard fence, narrowly missing children in pool
FORT WORTH, Texas —
A car crashed through a backyard fence in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday, narrowly missing three children during a day of family fun.
Nest camera footage from Britteny Van Dusen captured the incident. Two children were in the pool, and a two-year-old was running nearby just seconds before the crash. Thankfully, all three children were unharmed.
Authorities said two people were inside the car. The driver was cited for reckless driving, and the passenger was taken to the hospital.
A city council member is hoping a stop sign can be installed near the scene within 30 days.
It is unclear what led to the crash.
