Free agent forward John Konchar agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks, agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group told ESPN on Tuesday night.
Konchar, 30, is entering his eighth NBA season after spending 2025-26 with the Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies.
The Knicks have two open roster spots and Konchar has a strong opportunity to make New York’s final roster, sources said. The Knicks also plan to sign center Drew Eubanks to a deal to compete for a roster spot, sources said.
Konchar was one of the most experienced free agents remaining on the market, with over 360 games in the NBA under his belt. He spent the first six seasons of his career with Memphis before he was traded midseason to the Jazz.
He averaged 5.9 points, 3.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds in 26 games for Utah last season.
