BCSO investigating infant death at Tijeras daycare

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an infant death at a daycare in Tijeras.

According to deputies, a 1-year-old child died at New Mexico Early Learning Academy in Tijeras. The death is currently under investigation, but officials say there is currently no information to suggest abuse or neglect at the daycare.

The child’s gender has not been identified.

The cause of death has also not been revealed, and deputies say parents were asked to pick up their children from the daycare during the time of this incident.
