‘Coyote Vs. Acme’ lands in third at the box office

“Coyote vs. Acme” has landed in third at the box office after another successful weekend. It is also the No. 1 movie of the week on Letterboxd.

The Albuquerque-filmed movie premiered on Aug. 28 and landed right after “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

Warner Bros. almost shelved the comedy, but public pressure forced the studios to release the film.

Albuquerque references are made constantly throughout the movie.

John Cena and Will Forte filmed the movie in New Mexico back in 2022.
