Farmington man who locked daughter in chicken coop suffers stroke

A Farmington man accused of forcing his 15-year-old autistic daughter to live in a chicken coop wants his case dismissed.
Jammy Jackson and his girlfriend Patricia Madrid locked his 15-year-old daughter, who also suffers from ADHD and fetal alcohol syndrome, in a chicken coop for several months.
Jackson’s attorney says that since his arrest, he has suffered multiple strokes, leading to both physical and mental impairments.
His attorney also argues that Jackson struggles with his memory and is not competent to stand trial.
