Colton Hendricks didn’t find love during his time on Season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife. However, he would later find love post show with Cassie McCowan.
The farmer exclusively spilled the relationship beans to us back in May of 2025, after he started posting horseback riding videos of an unknown woman.
Today, the couple not only is married, but welcomed their first child together.

The couple shared the news of their newborn and growing family on Instagram on Friday (Aug. 21).
“What a sweet day yesterday 8/20/2026,” the post reads.
The first photo of the social carousel finds the new family of four sitting all cuddled up in the hospital bed together.
In addition to their new little son, Hendrick’s son Souther, from his previous marriage, was present.
Both mom and dad had nothing but smiles spread across their faces, and shared several up close newborn photos of their son.
The couple hasn’t shared details of their son’s name, but fellow farmer Matt Warren was quick to shower congratulations to the couple in the post’s comments.
McCowan shared her pregnancy news in a playful Instagram post back in May, but fans had already started to speculate of a potential pregnancy after Hendricks accidentally shared a video with a sonogram on their kitchen fridge in the background.
When Did Colton and Cassie Get Married?
The couple tied the knot in December of 2025, in a very intimate wedding.
“What a beautiful day with family and friends,” McCowan writes on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who could come and celebrate with us. Thank you to our family who made this happen.”
Why Did Colton and Zoe Green Break Up?
At the end of the show, Hendricks chose Zoe Green to come back to his farm with him. However, their relationship didn’t last long.
“The communication — it just really wasn’t there,” the farmer admitted during that same interview with Taste of Country.
“I’m not a big texter. I like to have phone calls,” he explained. “She has her own life and she’s super busy, and I have my own life and I’m super busy. The time just wasn’t there.”
Colton also pointed out that filming Farmer Wants a Wife happens over a relatively short period — about five weeks — which he says isn’t much time to truly get to know someone.
“After knowing someone for five weeks and only seeing them a few hours a day, moving them [Zoe] across the country is not something I wanted to do,” he said. “So after a few weeks, it just fizzled out.”
