Saints’ Dillon Radunz out for season because of torn ACL

METAIRIE, La. — New Orleans Saints guard Dillon Radunz is out for the season with a torn ACL, according to coach Kellen Moore.

Radunz limped off the field after one-on-one offensive and defensive line drills toward the beginning of Saturday’s practice and did not return. Radunz, who signed with the Saints last year, has been a key reserve who started 10 games last season.

Radunz is the second Saints player to tear an ACL in camp this year, as defensive tackle Bryan Bresee also tore his ACL at the start of camp.

Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan was not at practice Sunday due to a hamstring issue stemming from Thursday’s practice, Moore said. While Moore did not reveal the severity of the issue, he said Jordan was currently gathering more information.

Jordan missed Saturday’s practice, along with running back Alvin Kamara and long-snapper Zach Wood, to attend Drew Brees’ Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement. Both Kamara and Wood returned to practice on Sunday.

Safety Julian Blackmon was back at practice on Sunday after leaving Saturday’s session with a knee injury. Chris Olave also practiced as normal after an apparent wrist issue caused him to go to the sidelines to be evaluated by athletic trainers on Saturday. He went back in to catch a pass at the end of that practice.
