Homicide investigation begins after a person is killed in northeast Albuquerque
The incident occurred Saturday near Expo New Mexico.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
A homicide investigation is underway after a person was killed Saturday near Expo New Mexico.
A spokesperson for Albuquerque Police says the incident took place in the 1100 block of Arizona Street Northeast.
Police told KOAT a neighbor called 911 to request a welfare check. When officers arrived at the home around 6:20 p.m., police located a man who was dead inside the home, according to a press release from Albuquerque Police Department.
