A shooting involving Santa Fe Deputies is currently under review.
The shooting happened last month, and new bodycam footage reveals the moment a Santa Fe County Deputy fired a shot at a burglary suspect and missed.
The incident is currently under review after the suspect claimed he followed the deputy’s order but was still shot at.
The deputy says he thought the suspect was going to shoot him. The suspect was no hurt but arrested after he said he ran because there was a warrant out for his arrest. He was booked into jail.
The deputy who fired the shot was placed on standard leave and is now back on duty.
