Santa Fe city officials have announced that demolition has begun for a former school in Santa Fe.Saint Catherine’s Indian School suffered damage last week after a fire was started at the former school, heavily damaging areas like the dormitories and the chapel. Officials announced that demolition of the fire-damaged building began Friday, and crews are working to safely remove unstable portions of the structure. The sections of the remaining walls pose a significant safety hazard.
