Ella Langley pulled back the curtain on life on the road, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into touring.
Between staying active, finding time to recharge and getting ready for another show, there’s a lot happening when she’s offstage.
What does a day in the life of Ella Langley actually look like?
The Instagram video begins with Langley just after waking up. As she heats a giant pot of water, she explains that drinking warm water within the first three minutes of waking up is good for you before taking her first sip.
Langley goes on to explain that staying healthy and taking care of her body has become more important than ever because so many people are depending on her these days.
“We literally all need my body to function,” she says. “Doing what we’re doing in this industry, the chance of making it is less than two percent.”
After getting ready for the day, Langley changes into her workout clothes and heads outside, where she stretches and does a little yoga at what appears to be one of her tour stops.
She also makes time to unwind. Settling into a lounge chair with a book and what appears to be a pen, she says, “As long as I got this and this, I’m sitting here,” pointing to the two items.

Langley then heads back to where she’s staying to get her hair and makeup done before the evening’s show. As she gets ready, she puts on a few songs and sings along to help get in the right mindset before taking the stage.
What Does Ella Langley Listen To?
While sitting in the makeup chair before the show, Langley pulls out her phone and plays Al Green’s “I’m Hooked on You.” She starts singing along before laughing at herself and saying, “I messed that up pretty bad.”
Langley then declares, “This is my new obsession song,” before playing Bobby Womack’s “If You Think You’re Lonely Now.”
She and her makeup artist sing along at the top of their lungs, making it feel like an impromptu vocal warmup before the show. The moment also highlights Langley’s appreciation for classic soul music and legendary Black artists.
She then switches gears, cueing up UGK and Outkast’s “Int’l Players Anthem.” It’s clear she knows every word, effortlessly rapping along as she gets ready for the night ahead.
