The cost of a Forever stamp is set to increase Sunday. Here’s by how much

I’m responsible for everything from beginning to end as it relates to stamps, so my team, we’re responsible for working with the Citizen Stamps Advisory Committee. So they’re the committee appointed by the Post pastor general, and they’re the ones that are actually reviewing the thousands of suggestions we have coming in from the public and making the big decision about what stamp is gonna become *** stamp. Um, so we work with that committee on that effort and then we then work with several art directors once that topic is approved to bring those stamps to life. So we have several art directors who work with artists who then create the visual of the stamp that we then approve. Once we have the visual of the stamp, we then go through *** rigorous legal process to get the stamp approved and cleared, and then once. Once that happens, I have *** team in Kansas City that works with our printers to actually produce the stamp, so they actually work with the printers to go through the pre-production process to make sure the stamps, um, look exactly as how we have it when we actually design the stamp, and then they print the stamps. Those stamps are printed and then they’re sent out to Kansas City where they are stored in the caves in Kansas City. Um, and then they go out to the public. I have *** small group as well in Dallas, Virginia, and they also receive the stamps and ship out the stamps, and so the stamps go from both Kansas City and Dallas to both the public and to the post offices. I have to admit it’s probably one of the coolest, no, it is the coolest job I’ve ever had, honestly.
