McKinley County Deputies are investigating a crash on I-40 West

No one was injured in the crash, which happened just at the beginning of a construction zone.

A crash on Interstate 40 westbound at exit 44 in Coolidge, New Mexico, on Sunday slowed traffic due to only one lane being open, a McKinley County Sheriff’s Office social media post said.No one was injured in the crash, which happened just at the beginning of a construction zone. As of 8:40 p.m., MCSO deputies were waiting for tow trucks to arrive and clear the scene.The crash is under investigation by MCSO. If more information becomes available, KOAT will update this story.
