Why Was Bailey Zimmerman Charged With Felony Property Damage?

Both charges were filed in connection with a May 27 incident, when the singer was scheduled to play a show at Albuquerque’s Sandia Resort and Casino. He ultimately canceled that show, saying at the time that he was feeling unwell.
Legal documents claimed that Zimmerman appeared drunk before the show, that he was angry and confrontational at soundcheck, and that he was ultimately kicked out of the hotel where he was staying.
After he left, the hotel alleges that the room where he was staying had been trashed, with the value of the damage assessed at around $16,000. Documents also claim that the singer charged $400 worth of alcohol to his room, but never paid for it.
Per TMZ, Bernalillo County prosecutors filed criminal charges to obtain an arrest warrant for Zimmerman on June 18.
