Kane Brown was forced to miss an appearance after requiring stitches and suffering a concussion on the golf course. The singer says he was hit in the head by a golf ball.
Pictures show a nasty cut along his ear. He needed 23 stitches to close the wound.
- Brown was slated to play Tight Ends & Friends, a concert that followed Tight End University in Nashville.
- Taylor Swift and Lainey Wilson shared the stage on Tuesday night (June 23). They sang “Love Story.”
- Brown’s next concert is slated for Thursday in Wisconsin.

“They said it will probably get worse [the] next 48 hours,” Brown shares on Instagram Story, “but I’m [alive] and that’s all that matters.”
Further details weren’t made available. It’s not clear who hit the ball that hit him in the head.

Former NFL players Taylor Lewin and Will Compton shared news of Brown’s injury and cancelation ahead of the show. Brown shared photos at about 4:30PM CT as he was pulling through Chick Fil-A.
Dan + Shay and Chase Rice also performed during the concert. The three-day event for NFL tight ends is scheduled to go through mid-week.
George Kittle, Greg Olsen and Travis Kielce founded the event five years ago as a way to better their position. Traditionally, the concert has acted as a fundraiser for a group of charities.

Brown’s current single is “Woman,” from an unreleased album. His last studio project was the High Road, released in 2025. “Backseat Driver,” “Miles On it” and “I Can Feel It” are among his recent hits.
