Make way for ducklings — on a Massachusetts highway! Massachusetts State Police troopers helped a family of ducks make their way on the busy Massachusetts Turnpike during the morning commute Wednesday.The ducks were spotted walking on the shoulder on the eastbound side of the highway between the median and the far left travel lane. A state trooper, with his cruiser lights flashing, escorted the ducks, a mother and her eight ducklings, as they waddled slowly along the busy roadway.Two other cruisers helped cordon off a path so the ducks could make it off the highway to a grassy, wooded area safely.
