Parts of central New Mexico shaken by four earthquakes
Four earthquakes ranging in magnitude from 3.1 to 3.8 were reported south of Belen Wednesday morning.
Four earthquakes were reported early Wednesday morning south of Belen.According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.3 magnitude quake hit south of Veguita around 3:44 a.m.That was followed by a 3.1 magnitude quake just southwest of the first quake around 4:25 a.m.Then a 3.8 magnitude earthquake was reported west of Veguita around 4:46 a.m. Finally, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake hit west of Abeytas around 6:44 a.m.This comes after four earthquakes were reported in Valencia County on Sunday.This is a developing story.
