Tyler Farr was hospitalized with a “severe concussion” over the weekend after a motor vehicle accident on his farm.
The singer was forced to cancel a performance at Connectictut’s Goshen Stampede on Saturday (June 13) due to his injuries. The festival broke the news of his accident in a social media post about the cancellation.
What Happened to Tyler Farr?
“Due to a motor vehicle accident on his farm, Tyler Farr was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion,” the statement reads. “…We wish Tyler a speedy recovery.”
As of Monday (June 15), Farr has yet to issue a statement on the incident. No further information is available about his accident or injuries. Taste of Country has reached out to Farr’s management for comment.
Who is Tyler Farr?
Farr entered the country music scene in the early 2010s. In 2013 and 2014, he scored three Top 5 hits with “Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water” and the chart-topping “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.”
Though subsequent songs have made less of an impression on country radio, Farr has continued to be a fixture in the genre, especially through his work with his fellow country star friend Jason Aldean.

Farr signed to Aldean’s label imprint Night Train Records in 2019, and released a couple of singles under that umbrella, but subsequently left to pursue a career as an independent artist.
The singer has also written songs for other artists, including “Hey Y’all” for Cole Swindell and “She’s Just Like That” for Joe Nichols.
Farr and his wife Hannah got married in 2016. They are parents to one daughter, five-year-old Hollis Caroline.
