Valencia County Fire Department crews are actively working to suppress a 1-acre Bosque fire near River Road in Belen. The fire is located east of Gabaldon Road and about one-tenth of a mile north of River Road on the west side of the Bosque. “No structures are threatened at this time, and crews are actively engaged in suppression efforts,” the Valencia County Fire Department said. No evacuations are currently in effect. Resources will remain on scene throughout the night to continue suppression efforts.
