THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OF EYE AND SKIN IRRITATIONS AND INFECTIONS.
Target recalling baby wipes because of bacterial contamination
The recall is only for fragrance-free and cucumber-scented Up&Up Baby Wipes with expiration dates from May to November 2028.
Beware these baby wipes! Target is voluntarily recalling some of its Up&Up Baby Wipes after receiving multiple complaints of them becoming discolored and causing eye and skin irritation and infections. Target’s website says the specific Up&Up Baby Wipes being recalled may be contaminated with microbial Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli, both of which can cause serious and life-threatening infections in immunocompromised individuals, newborns, infants, and young children. The recall is only for fragrance-free and cucumber-scented Up&Up Baby Wipes with expiration dates from May to November 2028. Those who have these specific product should either throw them out or return them to a Target store for a full refund.
