Albuquerque Police investigate deadly overnight shooting in South Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in the South Valley that took place overnight.

Officers in the Southwest Area Command were dispatched to a ShotSpotter activation on the 400 block of Merlida St. SW near Coors Blvd. SW and Central Ave. While on scene, officers found a man dead with gunshot wounds.

No other information was provided.
