Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. was arrested last Friday in Twiggs County, Georgia, for allegedly driving nearly twice the speed limit on Interstate 16, officials said. According to officials in Twiggs County, a Lamborghini was stopped for traveling at a high rate of speed along I-16. Authorities said the car, later found to have Smith behind the wheel, was traveling 136 mph in a 70 mph zone. Smith was charged with speeding in excess of the maximum limits and reckless driving. No one was hurt, officials said.Smith is the latest former or current Georgia player to be arrested for driving offenses.
