How Did Kyle Busch Die?
Busch’s cause of death has not yet been released.
However, there are a number of details about his death that we do know:
The 41-year-old’s death stunned fans, friends, fellow drivers and anyone who followed his racing career.
He becomes the second well-known driver to die in the last six months, following the death of Greg Biffle in December of 2025.
Busch was set to race in the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday (May 24) at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
This was his 22nd season as a driver in NASCAR’s cup series, where he won championships twice.
Kyle Busch won more 200 races for Hendrick Motorsports Joe Gibbs Racing and Richard Childress Racing across all levels of NASCAR over his career.
He also owned his own Kyle Busch Motorsports for more than 10 years, winning 100 races (including wins from other drivers) from 2010 to 2023.
Kyle Busch’s Wife and Kids
Nascar.com noted that Busch had been married to wife Samantha since 2010.

The couple had two kids; son Brexton (11 years old on Monday) and daughter Lennix (age 4).
