Michael Follette, Jr. was arrested by Edgewood Police early Wednesday in connection with the deadly shooting of Skye Johnson, 38, around 11:10 p.m. Tuesday in downtown Albuquerque, an APD news release said.A witness told police that they heard an argument, then gunshots, coming from a black truck in the area of Central Avenue and 8th Street. The witness saw a body, later identified as Johnson, fall out of the driver’s seat and onto the road. Follette got out and walked around the back of the truck and fired his gun at the witness, who was not injured, the release said.Johnson was taken to the hospital, where she died. Follette is charged with an open count of murder, tampering with evidence, shooting at a motor vehicle, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
