On Saturday, attendees of the festival enjoyed more country music in anticipation of headliner Post Malone.
“Boots in the Park,” a state-of-the-art country music festival at Balloon Fiesta Park, got a special state-of-the-heart bonus on Friday night. A week after the Albuquerque Youth Orchestra performed a musical telling of a story by heart transplant survivor Hunter Rael of Belen, country superstar Jelly Roll dedicated a song to Hunter as he and his mother, Anna Moya, danced in the front row before returning to Denver, where he is still recovering from the successful surgery. Nature’s thermostat went up the next day, with attendees of the festival enjoying more country music in anticipation of Saturday night’s headliner Post Malone.
