As Love on the Spectrum powers through its fourth season on Netflix, one breakout star has taken America by storm: Tyler White.
White is a major country music fan, as well as a party host and DJ in his spare time. He was a guest on Taste of Country Nights, where he shared some pivotal career advice he once gave to Lainey Wilson when he had the chance to meet her.
White said the meeting happened at the CMA Awards. “Lainey Wilson — me and Madison [my fiancée] walked up and hugged her, and she asked me for any pointers for hosting. That just shocked me.”

Because White frequently hosts parties, he knew exactly what to tell Wilson to help calm her nerves before she hosted the 59th annual CMA Awards — becoming the first solo female host in more than three decades.
What Advice Did ‘Love on the Spectrum’s Tyler White Give to Lainey Wilson?
White says he told Wilson to, “Just have fun with it. Get the crowd fired up and ready to go.”

He says he knows she took his advice because that’s exactly what she did as host of the show.
“For me, as someone who’s emceed at the Florida Strawberry Festival and CMA Fest, giving advice to someone hosting one of the biggest events on national television was very special.”

The 20 Best Lainey Wilson Songs
Lainey Wilson’s best songs are the ones that show exactly who she is: A sharp songwriter with a stubborn streak, a tender heart and a flair for ’70s rock and roll.
Some of that might seem like a contradiction, but it’s always made perfect sense to Wilson, who debuted on the country scene with a never-ending closet full of bell-bottoms and an unapologetically thick Louisiana drawl. Even if you flip back to some of her earliest releases, this singer-songwriter has always known who she is, and been laser-focused on her country music goals.
That self-confidence and willingness to work hard has paid off for Wilson, who has climbed the country music ladder by leaps and bounds since she released her breakout hit, “Things a Man Oughta Know,” in 2021. Keep reading for a look at Wilson’s catalogue, and our roundup of the 20 best country songs she has released to date.
