New Mexico State Police announce death of K-9

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police is mourning the loss of one of their K-9s. K-9 Vector had been with the department’s bomb squad since 2022. He retired from duty last month after a life-threatening diagnosis.

On Tuesday, NMSP announced the passing of Vector, saying he demonstrated courage, loyalty, and dedication to protect the community.
