Dying Wish have announced their Flesh Stays Together 2025 U.S. fall headline tour, set to kick off November 14 in Nashville, TN. The 19-city run will feature an intense supporting lineup including Static Dress, Gouge Away, Orthodox, and Boltcutter. The tour will wrap up on December 12 in their hometown of Portland, OR with the band’s second annual holiday event, Dying Wishmas, at the Roseland Theater.
Before hitting the road for their headlining run, Dying Wish will support Poppy alongside MSPAINT on a U.S. tour next month. That trek includes festival appearances at Louder Than Life on September 21 and Aftershock on October 4. The band will then head to Europe, joining Malevolence, Speed, and PSYCHO-FRAME for a run of overseas dates. Get your tickets here.
The tour announcement follows the recent reveal of Dying Wish‘s new album, Flesh Stays Together, set for release September 26 via SharpTone Records. Produced by Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Nothing, Full of Hell), the album is the follow-up to their acclaimed 2023 release Symptoms of Survival.
The first single, “I’ll Know You’re Not Around”, is out now on all streaming platforms. The track is accompanied by an official music video co-directed by Eric Richter and Dying Wish guitarist Pedro Carrillo. Several limited-edition vinyl color variants are available for pre-order in the band’s online store.
Vocalist Emma Boster describes Flesh Stays Together as “a discovery, a journey of grief and a statement,” adding: “Together we face the most unacceptable conditions in our lifetimes. Every tragedy becomes our own yet we have never been more separated. Flesh is a vicious wake up call. Slowly and painfully we approach the end we deserve.”
On “I’ll Know You’re Not Around”, Boster says: “The song expresses weakness and deep regret when faced with the ongoing pain on the surface of our dependency with one another. The unavoidable conflict, betrayal and abandonment that lie within the cracks of our society. An acceptance of grief.”
Carrillo adds: “It opens up where this band can go and how vulnerable things can be. Whether it is by our own accord or not, life is both vulnerable and artistic. Even in the most confusing of times.”
