After Decades, Carrie Underwood Returns to Her Natural Hair Color

Date:

Carrie Underwood has stunned America once again — this time with her hair, as she goes back to her natural hair color for the first time in 30 years.

The country queen posted a carousel of photos and one video to her Instagram for her millions of followers to see, and it had a very personal caption, making us all feel like we are good friends.

Underwood wrote, “Well, the last time I saw my natural hair color, I was probably about 12 years old, but I thought it might be time to give it a second chance.”

Showing off her comedic side, she added a thanks to the salon and person who helped her achieve this, writing, “Thanks for helping me get back to my roots.”

The last thing in the carousel she posted to her Instagram was a video of herself showing off her new/old locks to her fans by slowly turning her head from side to side.

Can we talk about the salon where she got her hair done for just one moment?

Imagine taking the call from Underwood, or possibly an assistant, that you are the chosen one to bring the queen back to her roots. That had to be an exciting and nerve-racking few minutes for the stylists.

Lots of celebrities commented on Underwood’s new look, including Candace Cameron Bure — aka DJ from the TV shows Full House and Fuller House — who wrote, “So pretty!”

Another fan wrote, “I also wanna know what the boys think of it!”

Of course, they’re referring to Underwood’s two sons, Jacob and Isaiah, and her husband Mike Fisher, who we are sure loved seeing their queen in her natural state.

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, owned a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 2-half-bathroom home in an affluent Nashville suburb called Brentwood. The 7,000-square-foot mansion features a wet bar, fitness center and tennis court, as well as a four-car garage, walk-out basement with heated marble floors and extra appliances, including a sub-zero fridge and wine fridge. That house is where Underwood suffered a devastating fall in 2017.

The couple sold the luxurious home for $1,410,000 in March of 2019, after they moved into the massive dream home that they had spent several years building from scratch.
